I've never really been incredibly impressed with food photography. There tends to be a style that sells and art directors, stylists and photographers tend to not deviate. However a shining ray of light of inspiration comes from Sam Hofman whose recent clients include Weiden + Kennedy, HarperCollins and the BBC. Hofman says on Feature Shoot ‘I’m interested in using food as objects rather than something you would necessary eat, as well as exploring still life’s more experimental and playful side.'
